TV: An Acronym that Works

So, maybe folks will see that the political rhetoric of T and V is offensive. Truly. Saying Kamala is mentally deficient (on more than one occasion) is rude, mendacious and arrogant. It bespeaks a speaker who does not know the boundaries of decency. The statements are offensive.

Since I have been thinking about meanness and its eradication of late, I started to write about T and V and the poor role modeling they are providing for America (and the world). Then, I accidentally typed TV (with no separation) and I had an epiphany. They are like a TV show; they act like a TV show; they showboat; they goat; they create airtime and hog air space. What a show. They are game show hosts where the prize is the presidency. And they are really good at the TV gig. They get how to get an audience and ratings.

But here’s the problem. The real world isn’t a TV show. It involves real people. This isn’t the Apprentice; this is a time for real leaders, not television show hosts. We have candidates in T and V who act and think like the run for leadership in the free world is a TV show.

TV show. Yipes.

The only thing that’s a show is the behavior of T and V. Change the channel. Lower their ratings. Time into a better more watchable channel. And tomorrow night, think about V in the debate as a TV showman and Walz as the real deal.

I’ll take the real every day. For real.

PS. The image is a gray fuzzy TV screen!
