Creating a Pilot Virtual Teachers Lounge
Teachers need our help more than ever. With the absence of a teachers lounge, they are not able to connect and engage as they could before the Pandemic. The need for interaction with fellow educators is key.
That is why four educators (Sakina McGruder, Pat Neil, Ed Wang and I) agreed to pilot a Virtual Teachers Lounge with facilitated conversations starting March 13. We are not being compensated for our efforts but educators participating will get something for their time and willingness to engage! See below.
Interested in participating in the Pilot Virtual Teachers Lounge? If you are an educator across the PreK — 12 pipeline, this is for you. The time for completing the interest form is fast approaching — March 1.
Here’s the link. Teachers — this is for you! First conversation is March 13!
Also, email if you have questions to virtualteacherslounge2021@gmail.com if you have questions.
An explanatory PDF is attached. Links are embedded there too.
Consider joining us. Share with others. We are identifying 20 interested educators from across the US for the pilot and then we expanding thereafter. So we will have a wait list. We hope to garner best practices and key strategies that can be shared. Participants will have a dedicated website with resources and chat opportunities.
Participants will receive a free educational resource (The Feeling Alphabet Activity Set valued at $4.99), a $20 gift certificate at Amazon and a certificate of participation.
