Buyers’ Remorse: Teslas and Beyond
Folks who have bought Teslas are experiencing, in vastly higher than usual numbers, buyer’s remorse. And they are unloading these vehicles at a sharp and steep discount. And while some T, EM and JDV supporters may swoop in to buy these used cars cheap and T determined to buy one (not a fleet) as a show of fealty, it isn’t a long shot to say these cars are tanking (intended irony with the word “tank”). This is a global phenomena.
FYI: Some passengers using Uber are, by the by, canceling reservations if the assigned driver is using a Tesla. They prefer non-Tesla drivers. Add me into this group.
As I reflect of the horrifying and unheralded slash and burn strategies of T, EM and JDV and the caving of two handfuls of Democrats who wanted their jobs more than saving souls, I am struck by this: some T and JDV voters may be experiencing “voter remorse,”defined as the equivalent of buyer’s remorse in an election contest.
Apologies
If this has happened or is happening to you (and I know some “you’s”), it is OK to reverse one’s stand and say: I erred. I voted for the wrong candidate. Say that to one’s children and one’s friends. In fact, it takes courage to own one’s mistakes. Many folks, except under extreme duress, will never admit the error of their ways. (Oh I know some of these folks; some live close by!)
So, owning mistakes could in the case of the election of T, EM and JDV (well, EM was elected by proxy), change the course of America’s history. Rather than letting the devolution of our nation continue even one day longer, step up and out. Revolt against one’s past election decision. See the harm being down and help the rest of us find a way forward. Join us….
Not a Landslide
The election of 2024 was not a landslide in terms of the popular vote. Think about that. We can change the tide. It isn’t as if all is lost (yet).
If T and JDV voters can appreciate the destruction of values and markets now occurring and the lives currently being profoundly damaged at every turn — all to garner power and generate $$ for their pockets and those of the rich whom one has befriended — stand up. Be brave. Now is not the time for being timid or hiding one’s true values.
And if one’s personal or one’s business pocketbook were one’s key motivator in voting for T and JDV (the economy), how’s that going? If one is looking at the market or prices, not so well. Eggs aren’t the only thing headed in the wrong direction.
Here’s my thought: changing the current horror show requires that people step out of the theater showing that real life T, EM and JDV film and say: “I don’t like or want a horror show.” Time for a different real life movie.
In short: here is the elevator speech: Horror films, like Teslas, are not what we choose to buy now and moving forward. We can put our money and our time and our values and our commitment to a better world in a better place.
